Our Services
We do our best to preserve trees, their integrity, and promote their health but in some cases removing them is the only solution. Often, trees are taken out because of hazards, sickness or new construction. We approach every removal with the same method centered around the safety of the crew, safety of public or private spaces and structures within the "fall zone".
Identifying potential targets close to the tree and will utilize rigging devices and techniques. If you are looking to have any trees removed, it is recommended to have a Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ) Arborist evaluate the tree and provide a report. Most municipalities require these reports along with an application for permits. Failure to obtain them, for any removal, could result in hefty fines for both the property owner and the business performing the work.
We work closely with a TRAQ Arborist to provide concise, detailed reports.

One of the most important practices in maintaining tree health and aesthetic is proper pruning. We carefully examine every tree and assess the type of care it needs and the method of pruning to be employed. Most commonly, trees are pruned to remove hazards, such as dead and failing limbs, limbs likely to fail, to provide clearance from structures, utilities, other trees, plants and pedestrian right-of-way. For general maintenance, a natural pruning process is most recommended. We will identify the natural shape and prune to accommodate it's organic form by favoring developed structural branches and removing or reducing impeding dense foliage. For trees that have been damaged by storm, improper care or vandalism we perform restorative pruning practices by removing and reducing any remaining hazards while also promoting favorable structure in the tree. Pruning helps to manage the production of fruiting and flowering tree which is typically recommended in early spring or late fall.

Cabling, Bracing, Tree Health & Maintenance, Tree Planting
Cabling is a viable solution, often paired with some pruning to tie two or more co-dominant stems together that have a weak union. Most lead failures occur when a weak union is present and environmental factors (strong winds, heavy rain/snow fall) cause one of the stems to break out, potentially causing property damage. Cables are typically installed at about two-thirds the height of the tree and help mitigate the stresses of each stem by providing support and allowing them to move together rather than against each other. Installed cables must be adjusted or reinstalled regularly.
